Running Windows Applications

simpleLinux has a power of tricking Windows applications to trust that simpleLinux is Windows XP, or Windows Vista etc, so there will be no problem running Windows applications.

WINE (Wine Is Not an Emulator)

With WINE, you could emulate (I mean, run/starting) windows applications. It is very easy running Windows applications with simpleLinux.

This is the list of applications I have tested with simpleLinux.

[Condition: Under 80% not recommended to run, above 80% running very great]
[Stability: Low, uses much RAM and CPU | Med, uses optimum RAM and CPU | High, uses less RAM and CPU and leaving simpleLinux much stable]

8. Counter Strike - Half Life 1.6 (Condition: 78% | Stability: Med)

Using WINE in simpleLinux

Running Windows applications in simpleLinux with WINE.

1. Select your Windows applications (EXE)

2. Double click on it. An Open With window prompted

3. Click on "Use a custom command"

4. Type "Wine" and click open

5. There you go, you could do so on other applications
